San Francisco church

Beyond the Main Square and Recocijo, there is San Francisco church. It is large and austere; it contains a choir in cedar finely sculpted. Different paintings are installed along the cloister, retracing Saint Francis of Assisi’s life. The convent cloister has high trees that border nice Moorish arcades. In the crypts, there are bones accumulated, probably rests of the first Franciscan who lived in Cusco.
